FMC 2016 Fall Committee Meetings

Participation in the FMC Heavy Duty and Aftermarket Catalog and the FMC Technical Committee meetings is an excellent example of industry collaboration. The information generated in these meetings benefits not only each member of the FMC but their channel partners, service providers and the motoring public.

Registration is FREE to employees of FMC member companies. All registrations must be received before the meeting. For event planning purposes, registering before September 23 is preferable. Registered attendees can pick up their name tags in the meeting room just prior to Thursday's meeting.


Heavy Duty and Aftermarket Catalog Committee

  • Reviews new and existing OEM parts data for all motor vehicles and maps that application in the correct industry format
  • Ensures the applications are accurate and in the proper format
  • Each committee meeting participant receives a free copy of the data which has a value of approximately $20,000 in the marketplace

 

Technical Committee

  • Reviews and updates historical technical service bulletins to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Generates new technical service bulletins to address current issues and situations
  • Approximately 60 bulletins are available on the FMC Web site for members, technicians and the motoring public to access

 

Environmental, Health and Safety Committee

  • Monitors state legislation for potential issues such as landfill bans or hazardous waste designations that impact your business
  • Renewed energy based on the imminent potential impacts of California’s Proposition 65
